| Meet Dr. Tod Hardin Welcome, and thank you for visiting our web site. Like you, I spend extra time researching the health care providers that my family visits. In fact, nothing is more important to me than their well-being. I have built my practice around the values, ethics, integrity, and experience that I would expect out of a health care professional, and it is my goal to treat each of my patients and their family members as I would my own family. Education and a Commitment to my Profession I am proud to be a third generation dental professional, and to be practicing in the Gresham and Sandy areas since 1996. I take the job of straightening teeth and creating beautiful smiles very seriously and very personally. I have surrounded myself with staff members that share this same desire. During your orthodontic treatment, we will do our best to create a fun and lighthearted environment for you to receive your care. It is important to us that you and your family have the best possible experience in our practice. We strive to blend our desire for beautiful results with an office atmosphere that is receptive and warm. After graduating from Sam Barlow High School, I attended Western Oregon State University and Portland State University where I earned an undergraduate degree. I then attended Oregon Health Sciences University for both my dental school education and my orthodontic residency. As a professional, I am committed to maintaining my education and staying current with the latest advances in my field, by attending nearly five times the required amount of continuing education each year. Technology in the orthodontic world is changing constantly. I am a member of four dental study groups covering complex cases and dental implants, as well as the Two Rivers Study Group, the Multnomah Dental Society, and various online orthodontic forums. I am also a member of the American Association of Orthodontists and the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists. My life outside of the practice. I am married to my high school sweetheart, and we have four wonderful children. Gresham was a great place for my wife and I to grow up, and we wanted nothing more than to come back to Gresham to work and raise our family. When I am not at the practice straightening teeth, I enjoy golfing, skiing, fishing, and pretty much anything in the outdoors. I am very active in my church, and I love to spend time with my wife and children. They say that the average child smiles, giggles, or laughs up to 400 times each day; and that the average adult smiles, giggles, or laughs only 15 times each day.
